BIM-Model Family house Monsengo
For this project, a BIM model was developed for a new family home to be built for the Monsengo family. The aim of the report was to develop the design digitally and check whether it meets the quality requirements set during the final design phase.
The building was fully modelled in Autodesk Revit, including floor plans, cross-sections, elevations and detailed drawings. The model includes building components such as walls, floors, roof structures, façade openings and the supporting structure. In addition, material lists, schedules and parameters are linked to NL-SfB codes to structure the information in the model.
The report also contains an explanation of the structure of the BIM model and the layout of the house, including a garage on the ground floor, a terrace with a swimming pool on the first floor and a balcony on the second floor. Finally, the added value of BIM within a construction process is discussed and recommendations are made for future projects.
